SEO Results

Our SEO campaign for Friendly Dental Group helped each of their locations to appear on the 1st page of Google and the local 3-pack search. The SEO results for this campaign provided a huge impact on the website’s visibility in terms of (data for 2018 will be updated soon):

  • Total traffic from 3,773 in September 2016 to 108,199 by the end of 2017
  • Booked appointments from zero in September 2016 to 2,686 by the end of 2017
  • The 1st position ranking was only 5 in September 2016 which improved to 217 in 2017 and increased to 598 in 2018

THE PROBLEM

When we started in September 2016, Friendly Dental Group didn’t have any analytics set up on their online properties. They had no idea how their current online marketing strategies were performing. We installed all analytical codes to be able to track marketing performance based on what we were prepping to execute.

Organic Clicks, LLC created a digital marketing campaign for Friendly Dental Group that aimed to boost website visibility, enhance online traffic, and drive new patients through their doors.

As a quick overview, we greatly improved the website traffic for Friendly Dental Group’s website in a span of 1 year. The total website visits were 21,905 in Q4 of 2016, which increased by 83% comparing Q4 of 2017 with 41,173 views.

The paid search Ads alone drastically increased website visits by 282% in Q4 of 2017 compared to Q4 of 2016. Now that booked appointments and phone calls from Google and other marketing channels could be tracked, appointments increased by 244% in Q4 2017 vs. Q4 2016 and total website phone calls increased by 29% in Q4 2017 vs. Q4 2016.

THE SOLUTION

Organic Clicks, LLC launched an SEO campaign for Friendly Dental Group that was designed to increase the quality and quantity of online traffic of the website to convert into patients. Friendly Dental Group has over 20 location across North and South Carolina. One problem was that they had a different website for all 20 locations, which wasn’t the best strategy for a multiple location business.

Our SEO campaign aimed to consolidate the authority of all these websites into one. This way we were able to increase the authority of friendlydentalgroup.com by creating designated landing pages for all locations on their main website.

The factors considered in helping website visibility and online traffic are keyword positions, natural and organic traffic, new and returning users, and CTR. The type of device used in searching was also monitored in this campaign. Friendly Dental Group’s website was optimized for desktop AND mobile searches to ensure page speed provided the best user experience for these types of searches. If your website doesn’t load 4% or faster, your customer is moving on to the next business.

The consolidation of over 20 locations into 1 website helped each location to appear on the first page of Google and the local 3-pack. For example, by consolidating all locations to the main website, Friendly Dental Group of Kannapolis is now 1st in the organic search results and 1st in the local 3-pack when searching for “dentist in kannapolis nc.” Each location is now ranking on the 1st page of Google and at the top of the local 3-pack.

After ranking each location at the top of Google, the next step was to help them dominate the local search landscape by utilizing Google Ads, social media marketing, reputation management, and etc.

THE RESULTS

With our SEO campaign, for example, Friendly Dental Group of Rock Hill now ranks #1 in Google compared to being on the 5th page of Google back in 2016 before we started working with them. Another example is for the keyword “dentist charlotte nc,” Friendly Dental Group of Charlotte and Friendly Dental Group of University now appears on the first page of Google ranking in the 5th and 6th positions respectively. This was a huge leap from when they ranked on the 6th and 7th page back in September of 2016.

Our SEO campaign helped the website increase new website visitors by 38% and increase 30% in returning visitors for January to August 2018 compared to the same period in 2017. Booked appointments have increased in volume with only 321 bookings in Q4 of 2016 to 1,105 bookings in Q4 of 2017, which is a 244% increase. We will have a comparison update on this important KPI when 2018 has ended so we can compare 2017 against 2018.

For the #1 position for keyword ranking has immensely increased by 268% from Q4 of 2016 to compared to Q4 of 2017. For the top 10 keyword rankings, Friendly Dental Group has seen an increase from only 19 in September 2016 to 1,622 in 2017 and to 4,024 in 2018 so far (data for 2018 as of 10-31). Total keyword rankings has increased by 224% from Q4 2016 compared to Q4 2017, and already by 86% in 2018  (data for 2018 as of 10-31) compared to 2017.
